Soccer Registration Information

We play soccer for fun, learning, and development. Above all else remember that this is a recreational league where the emphasis is placed on learning and development, not winning. We offer soccer for players from 3 to 14 years old. (Age as of July 31, 2019.) Coaches are volunteers, usually a parent of a player on the team.

Registration Fees: U4/U5/U6 = $110, U8 = $125 U10 = $145, U12/U15 = $150

Registration includes a full uniform: jersey, shorts, and socks. All divisions will be scheduled to play 10 games (weather permitting)

Uniforms can take up to three weeks to arrive and players will not be allowed to participate in a game until the uniform is received. Uniforms are purchased following the forming of a team, no refunds will be given after this date.

To inquire about registration, please email soccer@380sports.org

Volunteer Information
380 Soccer is a volunteer organization that facilitates the sport of soccer for the enjoyment of the participants.  All board members, commissioners, directors, coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents are all volunteers who give their time and efforts on behalf of the players. Without parent volunteers, the number of children able to participate would be decreased. When registering, please indicate how you can volunteer for the Spring season and someone will be in contact with you. If you wish to volunteer for 380 Soccer and need more information, please contact soccer@380sports.org

Coaches
All coaches are volunteers, usually a parent with a child on the team. Each season coaches are needed for every age group. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact soccer@380sports.org. It is important to indicate at the time of registration if you can coach a team so that we can form the proper number of teams, you can request a uniform style and practice days/locations, complete the background check and distribute equipment, and practices can begin at the same time for every team.

Team Formation
During regular open registrations your child will be placed onto the same team from the previous season unless you specify otherwise.  If you choose to change teams your child will be placed into the player pool and randomly assigned after all returning teams and players have been assigned.  All roster spots are forfeited at the completion of regular registration and any open spots will be filled from player pool in the following order: new and returning players registered during regular registration, late registrations, then waitlist registrations if available. No exceptions.

Special Requests
Requests for specific practice times and locations cannot be honored as the practices are determined by the coaches, not the league. Teams are formed from rosters from the previous season. Any open spots on teams will be randomly assigned from player pool. If the league is unable to honor a request, the player is considered part of the player pool and will be randomly assigned to a team. Requests for specific coaches/teams cannot be honored and will not be considered when forming teams per NTSSA and 380 Soccer team formation rules and restrictions. No special requests can be honored for late / waitlist registrations (even for a returning player).

THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE TEAM FORMATION AND SPECIAL REQUEST POLICIES.

Non-Payment or Late Payment
A player is not considered registered until the registration fee is paid in full or other arrangements have been made with the commissioner. A player will not be assigned to a team nor will a uniform be ordered until the fees are taken care of in full. No exceptions. Email soccer@380sports.org with questions or to make payment arrangements.

Hardship Discounts and Scholarships
380 Soccer provides a limited number of registration fee discounts and scholarships each season to help eligible youth participate in sports programs within the 380 YSO jurisdiction. This scholarship program provides assistance to youths who are not currently being served by existing scholarship or fee waiver programs. To apply for assistance, please contact soccer@380sports.org

Refund Policy
All Requests for refunds must be received by 380 Soccer prior to team formation.  No refunds will be given once uniforms are ordered. All requests for refunds must be initiated by the player’s parent or legal guardian by emailing the commissioner at soccer@380sports.org. A Coach may NOT report a withdrawal of a player or request a refund on behalf of the player. Only players for whom 380 Soccer cannot provide a team will be refunded in full.  All other refunds will be minus a $35 administrative processing fee, and the following guidelines will apply to ALL refunds:

  • No refunds will be given to a player after she/he has participated in a practice or game.

  • If the sibling discount was applied it will be deducted from the refund as applicable

  • Late fees and waitlist fees are non-refundable

  • There will be NO refund for players who register as an Academy, Non-rostered, or Release once a form has been signed by 380 Soccer

  • If payment was made with a credit card or PayPal, a refund will be processed back to the card used less the processing fee.

Returned Check Policy

Before Registering
Read the 380 Soccer Refund Policy
Read the 380 Soccer Official Code of Conduct
Review the 380 Soccer League Rules and Bylaws.

After Registering
The next contact you will receive from 380 Soccer will be from the coach of your child’s team.  Your child’s coach will receive the roster after the coaches meeting which is held approximately 3 weeks prior to opening day.  Coaches are asked to contact players shortly thereafter. The coach of your child’s team, will notify you of days, times, and locations he or she has chosen for practice.  Be prepared with your child’s equipment (soccer socks, shin guards, cleats, and a ball) and be ready for practice when the coach calls!

Practices
Practices are usually held Monday through Friday at the coach’s discretion. Practices can be once or twice a week and will be located in our local communities. The league does not make any guarantees of specific practice location, day and/or time. Refund requests for the full registration fee will only be honored if there are not enough registrations to form equally aged teams.

Game Schedules
Schedules will be released approximately 7 days prior to opening day. Regular games will be scheduled on Saturday, but occasionally are held on a weekday. Games rescheduled due to inclement weather can be any day of the week.

Pictures
Individual and team pictures will be scheduled for late September. The schedule will be released as soon as it is available.
