Policy:

It is the expectation that all members of 380 Youth Sports, as well as their guests, conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate for a children’s recreational league at all times on or off the playing surface. It is up to all members of 380 YSO to promote a positive sportsmanship environment for our players and to treat each other with dignity and respect.

In order to accomplish this we ask all 380 YSO members to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Keep all comments positive at all times

  • Absolutely no foul language, hazing, taunting, arguing, aggressive behaviour, fighting, etc. will be tolerated.

  • Only Players and Coaches are allowed on the playing surface during games.

  • Leave the coaching to the coaches. If you have suggestions talk to your coach during practice or after the game.If you would like to coach contact your sports commissioner.

  • Exhibit proper conduct and control.Criticism of officials, coaches, opponents or fans has no place in a youth recreational league. If you have concerns or complaints address them properly to the sports commissioner or 380 YSO board members.

  • Be supportive to Board Members, Commissioner, Officials, and Coaches who volunteer their time to create a positive sports atmosphere. This includes arguing calls with the referees.

  • Keep the sports environment free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol.Refrain from their use at all youth sports events and do not come to one having drunk too much.

  • Remember that the game is for our youth – NOT ADULTS – and that participation in youth sports is a privilege, not a right
